Megan + Brian :: Wedding Part 2

Megan + Brian :: Wedding Part 2

So I have been swamped to say the least it feels like for over a month now, pulling late nights, waking up at 6:00am to start work and then somewhere in there trying to throw in a much needed workout!  Whew!  Anyhoodle… I finally finished Megan & Brain’s slideshow!

They are the best… hope you can really get a feel of their day from watching!  Enjoy!

Megan + Brian’s Wedding

Megan & Brian :: A Quechee, VT Wedding

From the moment I met Megan and Brian the morning of their engagement shoot, I could see their love for each other simply by noticing the way they glanced at each other from across the living room.  I’ll admit it almost made me jealous.  You know, that kind of love where you just get each other.  You can read each others minds when there is no expression on one anothers face.  It’s like some ESP thing, I swear.

The morning of their wedding, I woke up to pouring rain.  I mean lots and lots and lots of rain.  All I could think about was that I hoped Megan was still sleeping.   The weather finally broke about two hours before their ceremony, so it was perfect weather for me to shoot in!  When Megan came walking down the isle, I wanted so desperately to look at Brians reaction, but I forced myself to focus on shooting.  She was a breathtaking bride to say the least.  Megan is simply amazing. And Brian makes her amazing-er.

The day was filled with lots of love and dancing… lots of dancing.  When I saw Megan go upstairs to change into sandals for the remainder of the evening… I knew it was on.  Girl can cut up a rug!

Megan & Brian… thank you for truly being yourselves in front of my camera.  Your love shines through every photo… Enjoy!

Oh, right… I forgot to mention there was a hot air balloon that landed in the field next to the reception!

This may just be my all time favorite dancing photo… check out the moves on these two!

* Boudoir Noir Marathon *

* Boudoir Noir Marathon *

It’s herrreeee… I am SO excited to introduce my first ever Boudoir Noir Marathon!  I’ve been thinking about putting one together for a while now and I finally have all the details in order… because clearly, it has to be nothing short of fabulous.  Shooting in a local hotel suite in New Jersey with some light snacks and champagne (of course)… we’ll spend thirty minutes with the makeup artist and then a one-on-one two hour session with me.

As women, we are always striving for perfection. In doing so we tend to overemphasize the negative aspects of our bodies. Everyday we judge ourselves when standing too close to a mirror in poor lighting and only focus on our perceived imperfections.

Seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes can be a huge confidence boost because you get to see your whole self, without judging the first thing you notice in the mirror.

Through boudoir photography, my clients begin to realize the beauty that they truly possess.

A great wedding day gift to your Hubby, an even better anniversary present… sexy forever.

Tell your friends, pass it along… and get excited because I am!!

A Quechee, Vermont Wedding :: Sneak

This weekend I visited one of the most cute and quaint places on earth.  It was heavenly, wrapped up in a little box with a red bow on it.

Megan & Brian’s wedding was a blast this weekend!  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group of people that really knew how to get down with their bad selves like this group did.  Mad props to the Austin & Philpott families.  Stay tuned for more photos this week!

Juliana Anabelle :: 13 days new

Yesterday I may have just met the cutest baby girl I have ever seen before.  I kid you not.

My friend Jen had Juliana two weeks ago and she is just p.r.e.c.i.o.u.s!  I was so excited to take photos of this little one that all I could think about was all the different props I wanted to use.  Thank you HomeGoods… you are my second half.

She was a little sport for me while we were trying our best to prop her up, put headbands and bonnets on her, all the while crossing our fingers that she would stay sleepy.  By the end of the shoot she was alert and awake to watch me catch my last few shots of her…

Hello world… my name is Juliana Anabelle and I have a full head of hair!  Love.
