Mike & Danielle :: Anytime

I received an email from Danielle one afternoon a few weeks ago that oozed “Hi, I’m in love with my boyfriend and I want the whole world to know!”.   I, clearly… fell in love with how excited these two were to let me of all people do an Anytime shoot for them!

This was my first time meeting Danielle and Mike and I have to admit…  I am always a bit nervous when I first meet new clients.  I want more then anything for us to mesh and just to have an awesome time throughout the photoshoot… despite how stupid I think I am behind my camera, not everyone understands my humor!

I had a blast in the short amount of time I spent with these two.  Their love shines through each and every photo below and I absolutely luuurve it!   I can only hope that I’ll have more opportunities in the future to photograph them again!

I love this pic… it’s their personalities all wrapped up in one photo.

Danielle and Mike are my very good friends. I adore your photos! I love the one of them walking in black and white its beautiful. You captured them so well!

Zoe :: 11 Days New

Welcome to the world this little nugget… Miss Zoe was born September 29th and is the little bundle of joy.  She slept through the entire shoot and was the most perfect little model and photog could ask for!  It was such a pleasure having the privilege to take these shots of Zoe for Tracy and Mike.  I grew up with Tracy, and her family is like my own… so this was so special to me.

Tracy and Mike… I wish you tons and tons of happiness and joy with this little one!

Mike & Danielle :: Anytime Sneak

I just had to… could the light have been any more perfect?  I think not!

More to come this week!!

Biltmore Estate Wedding :: Laurie & Jason

I’d never been to North Carolina before.  I’ve been to almost every state on the east coast, but never North Carolina.  Boy was I missing out!  I was privileged enough to shoot my first wedding at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC a few weekends ago alongside Miss Dana!  I’d been looking forward to this weekend for what seemed like years!  Bags were packed, equipment ready… on my way to the airport… annnnnd my flights canceled.  Not only was it canceled but they rescheduled me for a flight out on Sunday instead!  Not a single flight on the east coast was heading out to Asheville that I would get in before this wedding would begin… so, clearly… Amanda got her diva on.

Seven hours later I was on a flight to Charlotte, NC, got in at 2:00am and rented a car so I could drive to Asheville that Saturday morning.  All in all… I got there!  And it was well worth the diva in me resurfacing.

I don’t know if there is another wedding location in the country that is as perfect as the Biltmore Estate.  I mean really… gorg.  I fell. in. love.  And to top off the amazing location… the decor for this wedding was out. of. this. world.  Seriously, I wanted to take their designer home and put him in a box on my shelf until I get married!

Laurie and Jason… you are a stunner couple.  Thanks for making the day that much more enjoyable!

Brad & Yustina :: Anytime

Brad and Yustina met about ten years ago back in high school.  I knew them both back then so it’s so amazing to see the two of them together now.  Ten years fly by way too fast, though high school seems like forever ago.  Isn’t it funny the way things work out?!

I love nothing more then when a couple is interested in an anytime shoot… just because.  I think there is no better way then to truly capture the special moments of your relationship then a shoot like this.  It was so adorable to see them interact throughout the short time that we spent together.  You can almost feel their love for each other just by looking through these photos.  These two made it so easy to capture so many great moments between the two of them!  I had a hard time choosing which photos to use for the blog!

Brad and Yustina, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these moments… I hope you remember them for a lifetime.

Hi… Remember me – Jaclyn’s cousin? I happened to be going over some old email messages and found our back and forth about portrait retouching. Figured that I would check our your latest projects. You’re doing some great work! Your poses, lighting, composition…everything is so nice.
Just wanted to drop a note to say “Hi” –
I suppose that I’ll see you on 11/6 – looking forward to it!
Take care,
