And we’re back… Boudoir Noir numero dos. I absolutely love hosting Boudoir Marathon’s. They give all the women an outlet to feel beautiful… you know, the kind of beautiful you feel when you’ve just slipped on that new outfit you purchased and you take the last look in the mirror before you head out for the night… hair done, makeup perfect, new outfit… fierce.
A few lovely ladies have given me permission from the last marathon to post a few shots on the blog. Much appreciated! It’s the best way for other prospective women to understand what goes on behind the scenes and get a feel for the awesome-ness of these shoots.
A special Valentine’s Boudoir Noir Marathon is already in the works for January 8th and 9th, 2011 weekend. Stay tuned for special deals and packages included in this years shoot!
Fall is almost over here in NJ, and by over… I simply mean the colors are quickly starting to fade and Pumpkin Spice Lattes are yesterdays news. Sad face.
I had the pleasure of shooting the Wood family this past weekend and was so excited that the fall colors stuck around just a little bit longer for us! Meghan reached out to me about taking some photos of her and her brother and sister to give to their parents for Christmas a couple weeks back. They have some classic, ancient photos still hung in their parents house of them in nice tight white turtlenecks… it’s a sight… believe me! So what did they do? They decided to reenact that exact photo and brought along white turtlenecks for a few photos. Although none of those photos will grace this blog, they were hysterical… to say the least.
Here’s to savoring every last Pumpkin Spice Latte I can, and moving on to Peppermint White Chocolate Mochas… bliss.
Fall is in full swing up here in the Jerz. Trees are changing, leaves are falling and I am taking in every moment of it. It may just be my favorite time of year, minus the colder weather. Kelly reached out to me about doing a Day After Shoot for her and Bryan and I was super excited! I’d seen some of their wedding photos already through friends and was blown away by how gorgeous Kellys wedding dress was… and well, if you know Kelly… you’d know that she made that wedding dress gorgeous-er.
There was something special about Kelly–perhaps it was her New Jersey flair, her radiant smile, or the ability to laugh at herself–that made Bryan fall in love. These two were so much fun to shoot with. I always like to give props to the husbands who agree to yet another day of photos. Kelly, you picked a good one!
Below are just a few of my favs…
Kelly, you are stunning.
I am absolutely obsessed with this photo. There is not another word for it… obsessed.
Bryan… job well done, my friend.
I just love ring shots… This shot was taken over the weekend from Kelly & Bryan’s day after shoot! I just love how fallish it is. It makes me want to wear a snuggie, put my feet up by a fire and watch the Notebook. Yes… the Notebook. Happy Tuesday!
I just love love loooved my shoot with the Curcura family. Big props to the Mr. & Mrs. because your kids are so well behaved, it makes me want to have 15. We were even able to sneak in some shots of the puppies! Jenna, Chris, and Andrew… thank you so much for spending your time with me and allowing me to take a gazillion photos of you without a single complaint. You are the best!
