New Beginnings :: New Digs

New Beginnings :: New Digs

Tah Dah!  Finally, I wanted to share some before and after photos from my new pad!  Interior design could honestly be one of my favorite things in the world.  You can find me most weekends in Homegoods almost regularly.  Typically what I like to do is find inspiration from a magazine (Veranda and Pottery Barn are two of my favs) and then figure out how I can replicate that feel on a smaller budget!

Moving out for me was a big step!  After college I lived home for two years to save up some money and was hoping to purchase something instead of rent.  I was dead set on wanting to buy a single family home… that is until I met with a mortgage broker went through a bit of a rude awakening!  So I thought about it for a while and decided maybe rentingfor a little while wasn’t the worst thing.  I am loving the new place and wanted to share a few of the before and after photos.  Enjoy!

Kelly & David :: A Quechee Inn, Vermont Wedding

Kelly & David :: A Quechee Inn, Vermont Wedding

Kelly and David’s wedding took place up at what I believe is one the most amazing places on earth… the Quechee Inn in Vermont.  Now, if you’re an avid blog follower, you’d remember the Inn from Megan & Brian’s wedding last summer!  The weather last weekend could not have been more perfect.  No humidity, beautiful white puffy clouds lined the sky.. and Kelly & David got ready to make the biggest commitment of their lives.  With the perfect backdrop, they sealed their vows with a kiss and all was perfect in the world.

We ran off to shoot their portraits and I couldn’t have been more excited about the location and all the amazing foliage that Quechee gave us.  David gave a wonderful speech at the end of the night where he spoke about his time overseas and how he realized the significance of giving his name to Kelly.  Kelly Bell.  And Kelly realized in that moment how lucky she was to call him her husband.  The evening was filled with lots of dancing and love.  It could not have been a more perfect day.

A big thank you to Kelly & David for trusting me enough to capture your day.  I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon!

Oh, and we can’t leave out Simon Pearce!

Love.
