I’m so excited share Elizabeth & Ralph’s wedding photos today! My husband, Josh and I have been friends with Elizabeth & Ralph for some time now, so when they reached out to ask if I would consider shooting their wedding, I was thrilled! It’s always such an honor to be asked by your family and friends to shoot their special day… but in the same sense, I still get those butterflies the morning of prepping for the day. It’s a BIG deal! Your wedding day… only the most important day of your life!
Immediately when I saw Elizabeth for the first time that morning, my nerves relaxed and I realized… this is just going to be awesome. They are the most fun couple… their bridal party is 24 people… enough said! I mean really! It was so special to see so many friends and family come from all over the country to celebrate in their love… they truly have some of the most amazing people in their life… the entire day just oozed of support and happiness! And I LOVED it!
When Elizabeth first asked me to shoot the wedding… she also mentioned that Josh and I would be guests at the reception, therefore… they didn’t want me shooting the reception… wait.. you mean, I get to enjoy the reception!?!? It seems like an easy task… you know, just putting your camera away for the evening and missing those other special moments that you see happen right in front of your eyes… but I think the most important journey I’ve been taking through my business this year is to stop and reflect… each moment is meaningful, and no matter if it’s me who captures that moment, or someone else… what’s important is that Elizabeth & Ralph have that moment for themselves for a lifetime. So, that’s what we did… after all the preparation, the ceremony, and some one on one time with the new Bride & Groom… I packed up my camera gear, threw on some dancing shoes and enjoyed their reception… and I’m so happy I did!
Elizabeth & Ralph… thank you for just be so… dang awesome. I mean really… your friends and family will back me up here. I’m so excited to share some of my favorites from the day.. enjoy!
Look at these ladies… BAM, I love it!
Christ the King Church is one of the most beautiful churches in the city, I loved shooting there!
Oh Elizabeth… you had me from your first hip pop… ha! Just beautiful!
Love this intimate one before we left the church…
Might be my favorite bridal party shot to date… thanks to the Intercontinental for allowing us to completely take over the bar!
Oh haaaayyy… work it you two!
Just stunning… absolutely stunning.
This is hands down one of my favorite of the day… a candid moment in between their formal shots… I feel like it just describes their relationship perfectly and I adore it!
The Intercontinental had such an amazing lobby area and Elizabeth & Ralph rocked it out!
