There is no bigger compliment that I can receive then when I have a bride reach out to me and tell me after being a part of another wedding I shot, she couldn’t think of anyone else that she’d want to shoot her wedding. I met Anne in Mexico while shooting Tiffany & Chris’ wedding in October of 2012. She was a guest at their wedding and it was so great to meet all of their new friends for a weekend destination wedding!
When Anne reached our to me to inquire about their wedding day, I was thrilled! We setup a date to meet over coffee at Starbucks. If ya’ll don’t know yet, I am a Starbucks fanatic and it’s one thing that I love sharing with my couples 🙂 She told me all about their engagement and how Alex flew into Atlanta without Anne knowing and surprised her at the hospital that she works at posing as another Doctor in a “fake” operating room, mask and all! I absolutely love hearing stories like this and love when men go out of their way to make it such a special moment to remember!
Alex is in the Air Force and is stationed in Florida, so this sweet couple has been dating long distance for quite some time now and I am so super excited that their wedding day is inching closer so they can (fingers crossed) be together for good! Alex was in town this past weekend, so we scheduled our engagement shoot and what better time of year in Atlanta then when everything is blooming! We spent our time at the Duck Pond in Buckhead, right in the center of Atlanta! The Duck Pond holds a special place in my heart because well, this is my neighborhood@! And I’ve always wanted to shoot an engagement in the spring time here and boy did it not disappoint!
Anne & Alex, I cannot wait until your fall wedding!! Enjoy just a few of my favs from the shoot…
