Aubrie :: Family Shoot

Aubrie :: Family Shoot

I met Aubrie for the first time a year ago on her first birthday… I went to school with Alexandra McTigue (check out her blog here!  http://thechristianblonde.com/ ) so I was super excited when she reached out to me to capture some photos for Aubrie’s first birthday.  Life seems to fly by… especially the years when your children are SO little… so I absolutely love Mamma’s who strap on their big girl pants, throw on some makeup and get their kids in front of the camera.  Allie is so good at documenting Aubrie and I was so honored to be there to shoot one more year down… they get so big, so fast!

Here’s some favorites from Aubrie’s Alice & Wonderland themed birthday!

Meet my new pal Parker!  I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with this little guy… oh, and his parents too!  Haha  He is the most spunky 2 year old I’ve ever met so it was so fun to follow him around all afternoon!  And those eyes… I only hope my first born is sporting some crystal clear dark blue eyes!  I swear by the end of the shoot he was thinking, “who is this crazy lady with the camera anyway?”!

Just a few of my favs… Enjoy!

The cutest boys on the block… my cousins two little ones were such nugs for this Christmas shoot, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite photos!  Thomas is the sweetest, most well behaved little gentleman and I just cannot get enough of how happy little baby Liam is!

With the Holiday season in full swing, I cannot help but to just eat, drink, and breath Christmas everything.  Hope everyone’s enjoying it just as much as I am!

Fall is almost over here in NJ, and by over… I simply mean the colors are quickly starting to fade and Pumpkin Spice Lattes are yesterdays news.  Sad face.

I had the pleasure of shooting the Wood family this past weekend and was so excited that the fall colors stuck around just a little bit longer for us!  Meghan reached out to me about taking some photos of her and her brother and sister to give to their parents for Christmas a couple weeks back.  They have some classic, ancient photos still hung in their parents house of them in nice tight white turtlenecks… it’s a sight… believe me!  So what did they do?  They decided to reenact that exact photo and brought along white turtlenecks for a few photos.  Although none of those photos will grace this blog, they were hysterical… to say the least.

Here’s to savoring every last Pumpkin Spice Latte I can, and moving on to Peppermint White Chocolate Mochas… bliss.
