Alison & Dave :: The Wedding

Alison & Dave tied the knot last weekend on a beautiful fall day!  I couldn’t get over how perfectly the decor that Alison chose for the wedding matched the season.  Alison and Dave have been dating for a while, so this was a long time coming and you could just see how excited everyone was to finally see them get married!

They said their vows under an evening sky and partied the night away with their closest family and friends.

Alison & Dave, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special day for you both… I hope you two enjoy reliving the day through the photos below!

Anne & Alex :: The Wedding

I’m so excited to share Anne & Alex’s wedding today!  I met Anne about two years ago while shooting Tiffany & Chris’ Wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico!  I was so flattered when we sat down months later for coffee and she told me she knew exactly who she wanted to shoot her wedding once she got engaged.

I feel like time just flies… and can’t believe it’s been over a year since we sat for coffee that day talking about life and wedding planning!  Anne & Alex have dated long distance for years now, so when I saw then seal their vows, it’s hard for me to not get this burst of excitement for these two!  Finally!!!

Anne & Alex, thank you for reminding me that hard work and real love is what makes the best of relationships.  You two are so strong individually, but you’re even stronger together.  Enjoy some of my favorites from the day…

Brittney & David :: The Wedding

I had the pleasure of shooting Brittney and David’s wedding last weekend in Long Beach Island, NJ.  I grew up going to LBI, so it brought back so many memories driving over the bridge onto the island.  The day was gorgeous, light breeze and 75* weather.

Brittney & David’s wedding day was filled with friends, love, a little partying and lots of happy tears!  I absolutely adore their families and how they welcomed me into their homes and lives for one of the most special days of Brittney & David’s life.

To the new Mr. & Mrs. Gutierrez… thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your day.  I had such a blast and hope you enjoy some of my favorites from the day…

Cailen & Derrick :: The Wedding

It’s been almost two years since Cailen and Derrick asked me to shoot their wedding.. so to say that I’ve been looking forward to their wedding for a while now, would be an understatement!  I am sure many of their friends can attest to the same thing too!

Cailen and Derrick tied the knot last weekend in Saddle River, New Jersey in front of all of their family and friends.  Speaking of friends… their bridal party was absolutely amazing… I love bridal parties who know how to have a great time but also truly share in the love and joy they felt for the Bride & Groom on their wedding day.

Even Cailen & Derrick are still away on their honeymoon, I can’t wait for them to be back and share in some of the moments from their special day here!

Emily & Seth :: A Chateau Elan Wedding

From the moment that I saw them together, I just knew.  It was a long shot… Emily lived in California, Seth here in Atlanta.. but fate had other plans.  Emily now lives in Atlanta where she is getting her law degree (go girl), and with a little change in plans, these two completely separate coast lives fell seamlessly into step with one another.  Isn’t it funny how stories like that work out so perfectly?

It was calling for rain all week… and even though a cloudy day is sometimes just what the photographer ordered, I still prayed for sunshine for these two!  I’ve been friends with Emily & Seth now for a few years, so to be asked to shoot their wedding was a huge compliment!  The morning came and I drove up north to Chateau Elan Winery in Brasselton, Georgia and the sun was beaming.  The whole afternoon went perfectly, a few clouds here are there but the sun was still shining and I just kept thinking, oh please Lord just let us get through the ceremony!

Emily & Seth opted for a First Look… and if any of my future brides are even considering it… you don’t want to miss their sweet photos together below.  It is hands down my most favorite moment of the day!  Just minutes before their First Look, rain… and it’s one of those keep it together don’t let the Bride see that you’re nervous moments.  There was sun and blue sky everywhere… so I did the unthinkable.  I just out of the van that we were waiting in for the rain to pass and did a little rain dance.  You read that right, a rain dance.  It took about ten minutes for the rain to pass and although we were a little off track with time, no wedding starts without the bride and groom, so we nailed the First Look and allowed these two to just soak up the moment with one another in private.

I am so excited this morning and could not be happier to share new the Mr. & Mrs. Davis’ wedding on the blog today!

Emily & Seth… where many words exist, I can only seem to find the following two: thank you.

Oh I just LOVE this!

Emily… you are breathtaking!

There was a rain shower right before we did the First Look.. thank the good Lord it passed and I may or may not have done a rain dance!  These next few I just cherish…

LOVE this one… Emily’s dress was to.die.for!

Emily & Seth exchanged personal vows and I don’t think there was a dry anywhere!

I HAD to share this one, cracks me up!

Ahhh beautiful light!!

I couldn’t decide which of the next two I liked better, so I chose both:)

Chateau Elan… you are beautiful.

I just love how happy they are in this one!

How cute are they?!

It’s photos like these that get me excited… when I throw my camera back up quick when the Bride & Groom aren’t looking and just like that… I fall in love with something new & different!

Had to end with this one !
